How ProMCQ content is written and checked

ProMCQ publishes practice questions, revision notes, flashcards and licensing guides for healthcare professionals preparing for Gulf licensing exams. This page explains where that content comes from, how it is checked before it goes live, how we use AI tools, and how to tell us when something is wrong.

Who publishes ProMCQ

ProMCQ is published by GK's Study Centre LLC. We are an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Prometric, Pearson VUE, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the Oman Medical Specialty Board, Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions, Bahrain's National Health Regulatory Authority or Kuwait's Ministry of Health.

Our questions are original practice items written to each board's published blueprint where one exists. We do not use, buy or reproduce questions from real exams, and we do not publish "recalls".

What we rely on

Clinical content is written against current international guidelines and standard reference texts. Where national and international guidance differ, we teach the international standard.

Licensing guides rely first on what the authorities publish themselves: regulator websites, official portals, exam handbooks and fee schedules. Factual statements link to the source they rest on, and each guide shows the date its facts were last verified. When an authority has not published a detail, we say so. If we report what candidates or preparation providers describe, we label it clearly and never present it as official.

How a piece of content is made

Each question, note and guide goes through the same stages before it is published:

  • Drafting against the board's blueprint and the relevant guideline or official source.
  • A separate checking pass that compares every clinical fact, drug dose and number with the reference it came from.
  • An independent review that tries to find errors, ambiguous wording and questions with more than one defensible answer.
  • Corrections from that review go back to the draft, and the item is checked again before it goes live.
  • For guides, a final pass checks that cited links still open. Official sites move pages and sometimes go offline; when a link breaks, we replace it with the current official page.

How we use AI tools

We use AI writing and checking tools at several stages: to draft questions and notes from the sources above, and to cross-check facts, doses and references at scale. AI output is never published unchecked. Every item passes the source-backed checks and the independent review described above.

We tell you this because you should know how the material you study from is made, and because it is why we put so much weight on checking.

Keeping content current

Exam formats, pass marks and fees change. Guides and exam pages show when their facts were last verified, and we re-check them when an authority changes its rules or when a reader reports a change. Clinical content is reviewed when the guideline it rests on is updated.

Corrections

If you find an error, an out-of-date fact or a question you think is wrong, use the feedback button on the question or email support@promcq.com with a link and what you think is wrong. We review every report, fix confirmed errors, and update the verified date on the page.

What our content is not

ProMCQ is exam preparation, not clinical advice. It does not replace your training, your local protocols or the official information published by your licensing authority. Always confirm eligibility, fees and exam rules with the authority before you book or pay.
