DataFlow problems, discrepancy reports and appeals

By the ProMCQ Editorial Team

Read your report before deciding what went wrong. Discrepancy and Unable to Verify mean different things. You can ask for a free recheck of the same papers once, within the time limit.

Facts last verified 5 October 2026. Updated 6 October 2026.

Report findings and requests
StatusMeaning
DiscrepancyIssuer denied issuing the document; document was tampered with; or issuer is unaccredited or operates illegally
Unable to VerifyCheck could not finish, for example because the issuer did not cooperate or would not disclose records; not proof of forgery
InsufficiencyDataFlow needs information from you; a late reply can close the case as Unable to Verify
PositiveIssuers confirmed the documents; the regulator still decides eligibility

These outcomes have different causes (DataFlow appeal process). Ask the issuer to answer DataFlow. If your work dates or title are wrong, read what the report says. Then choose a recheck or a request to check new papers.

Choose the right request

For Discrepancy or Unable to Verify, you can get the same papers checked again once for free. Ask within 180 calendar days of the report (appeal criteria). Later appeals cost extra. If your case closed as Insufficient Information to Process because you did not send details, you cannot get the free appeal.

The UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) programme has a 90-day window (DataFlow appeal process). The article does not say if that covers current Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) degree recognition cases. Ask DataFlow which time limit applies. We did not find an official fixed fee or time for a paid appeal.

For a corrected letter or other new paper, pay for an additional-document request. Check your board’s package and extra-check fees before paying.

Duplicate cases and account problems

Give DataFlow support both case numbers if an agent opened another application. We did not find an official rule that duplicate cases suspend a Mumaris Plus account or cancel an earlier report.

If Mumaris Plus is blocked, raise a SCFHS Tawasul ticket. A transfer can create a new case number; it does not mean every document was checked again.

Get your report and check charges

Follow your board’s steps to get the report. TrueProfile’s download instructions also let you download all DataFlow reports from its dashboard.

TrueProfile Premium renews yearly without warning. Cancel in account settings to stop the next renewal. You keep paid access until the period ends (TrueProfile terms). If you cancel, you get no full or partial refund. That rule does not settle a charge you did not agree to.

Offers to change the outcome

Use the appeal or additional-document route inside your own case (DataFlow appeal process). An outside offer to improve a report is not one of these procedures. Read the verification and exam scams advice.

Frequently asked questions

Is Unable to Verify the same as a fake document?

No. DataFlow could not finish the check. An issuer’s non-disclosure policy or lack of cooperation can cause it (DataFlow appeal process). Check the appeal window and ask the issuer to respond.

Can a DataFlow report be appealed after 180 days?

Yes, but you pay. The free recheck is once within 180 calendar days for the same papers (appeal criteria). The MOE UAE education programme uses 90 days. Ask which time limit applies to your programme.

Is it safe to pay someone who offers to fix a DataFlow discrepancy?

Use DataFlow’s case procedures. You can ask for a free recheck, a paid appeal or a check of new papers (DataFlow appeal process). An outside promise to improve the outcome is not one of them.
