NHRA exam fees, booking and exam day
NHRA’s August 2022 cost sheet estimates USD 184.5 for the Prometric exam. Check the current booking price before paying. Verification, application and licence fees are separate.

Budget for the whole licence route
The cost sheet gives estimates without a fee start date. It gives no current total. Ask your employer who pays each stage.

Ask NHRA which pharmacist fee applies before paying in Mehan. NHRA’s examination page links to Prometric for booking. The historical Pearson VUE estimate does not let you choose either vendor.
We did not find current NHRA exam and DataFlow prices, or charges for report transfer, LMRA, CPR and fitness checks. We did not find an official LMRA work-permit time either. Add those costs to your budget. Check Mehan, DataFlow and the booking screen before paying.
Get your code and book
- Check title, documents and exemptions in NHRA licence steps.
- Wait for NHRA approval and a code for 1 attempt (exam booklet).
- Book through Prometric’s NHRA programme. Your code lasts up to 4 months from issue.
- Use the programme’s locator to search for a centre and seat (NHRA programme). Check India availability there.
The programme page does not list countries holding the exam. If no seat appears, try a wider date range within your code’s validity.
Handle an expired code or appointment change
We did not find NHRA renewal steps or a fee for an expired, unused code. Write to your profession’s contact in the exam booklet: medical@nhra.bh, dental@nhra.bh, nursing@nhra.bh or pharmacy@nhra.bh.
We did not find NHRA rescheduling or cancellation deadlines and charges. Ask Prometric for your appointment’s terms before changing it. After a fail, use result and retake steps before rebooking.
Prepare for exam day
- Bring an original, unexpired government photo ID with a signature. NHRA decides which IDs count (test centre policies).
- Check your booking confirmation for the arrival time and accepted ID.
- NHRA rules take priority over Prometric’s general policies (test centre policies).
- Allow for 2.5 hours of exam time inside a 3-hour seating (NHRA programme).
- Expect staff to check your ID, pockets and glasses, including a metal-detector wand (test centre policies).
- Leave unapproved electronics, wearables, notes, books, food and drinks outside the testing room (test centre policies).
The NHRA programme page gives no break time or confirmation of an onscreen calculator. Ask at check-in. Practise dose and rate calculations by hand.
