Saudi Prometric exam results: scores, retakes and next steps
SCFHS licensing results arrive 2 to 6 weeks after the testing window closes. Check Mumaris Plus for your result. After a pass, finish classification and apply to register. Before a retake, ask SCFHS how many attempts you have left.
Facts last verified 5 October 2026. Updated 6 October 2026.
Find your result
Prometric gives 2 to 6 weeks after the window closes for these licensing exams. Count from the window’s last day, not your appointment. The SMLE and SPLE guides describe a results statement and feedback report.
The SCFHS FAQ says results appear in Mumaris Plus. SCFHS also has a candidate-only examination result login. Check the paper and file number.
| Timing | Scope |
|---|---|
| 7 to 10 working days | Prometric’s general SCFHS portal timing; not the licensing-exam window rule |
| At most 14 workdays | Mumaris FAQ’s general result-approval period across SCFHS services |
If your result is missing after 6 weeks, ask SCFHS through Tawasul. Include the number on your file. Keep your permit and results statement for the enquiry.
Read the scaled score
| Paper | Profession | Pass score |
|---|---|---|
| SMLE | Doctor | 560 |
| SNLE | Nurse | 500 |
| SPLE | Pharmacist | 536 |
| SDLE | Dentist | 542 |
SCFHS uses standard setting: experts decide the score needed to pass. A scaled score is not a count of correct answers. The guides give no way to turn the score into a raw percentage. Dividing 560 or 500 by 800 does not give the required share of correct answers.
Compare your result with your own paper’s pass score. SNLE permits up to 10% unscored pilot questions; SPLE permits the same share of pilot items. The guides do not identify which questions are pilots.
After a pass: classify, then register
A pass from abroad is a step towards a licence. Finish your classification file, then apply to register. To register, you must live legally in Saudi Arabia. It lasts 2 years (Mumaris FAQ). Follow the classification and registration steps.
| Purpose | Rule |
|---|---|
| Saudi Board application | 2026 matching booklet: licensure result up to 5 years old during the application period |
| Repeat assessment for classification | Membership criteria: same-specialty SCFHS pass within 5 years exempts reassessment, except high-risk specialties |
| Professional registration | 2 years applies to registration, not your exam score |
| Other licence application | We did not find an official general pass-validity period. Ask SCFHS about your application. |
After a fail: confirm your attempts
Read the current SMLE, SNLE, SPLE or SDLE guide for your paper.
| Source | Rule |
|---|---|
| SMLE and SNLE applicant guides | Up to 4 attempts a year from the first attempt. Never twice in one testing window. |
| SPLE and SDLE applicant guides | Up to 4 attempts a year from the first attempt. Never twice in one testing window. |
| Licensure exams webpage | 2 more attempts after a first fail. If still unsuccessful, chances may restart 1 year after the first attempt. |
| Older Prometric FAQ, 2022 | 3 attempts to pass; covers several assessment types together |
Ask SCFHS through Mumaris Plus or Tawasul how many attempts you have left before you book. A second sitting in the same window uses an attempt and has an invalid result. Check the permit period and retake booking costs. Use the feedback report to choose revision topics.
Improve a passing score
| Purpose | Conditions |
|---|---|
| Improvement attempts | The SMLE applicant guide allows 2 improvement attempts after any pass for residency selection. The SCFHS exams webpage allows 2 after a first-attempt pass. |
| Improvement attempts (continued) | Yearly improvement attempts also depend on classification and registration rules. Ask SCFHS which route applies before paying. |
Request rescoring after a fail
The January 2019 rescoring policy covers failed results only. Send the request form to Assessment Operations and pay its administration fee within 2 weeks of the result. The policy gives no amount. Ask if these steps still apply before you pay.
Rescoring checks your data, that the record is complete, and how the score was worked out. An expert does not mark your answers again. The policy says it is unlikely to change your final result.
Other assessment and conduct rules
| Case | Rule |
|---|---|
| Nurses without a pass 2 years after graduation | For nurses still unsuccessful 2 years after graduation, SNLE says classification and registration rules apply. It does not call this a permanent ban. |
| Other professional assessments | For other assessments, your file goes back to classification when you use up your attempts (Mumaris FAQ). You may need to pay a fee for a further permitted attempt. Ask SCFHS which fee and route apply. |
| Exam integrity | SCFHS integrity rules prohibit altering results and unauthorised exam material. Penalties can include a warning, result cancellation, 6 months to 3 years’ suspension, or permanent disqualification. |
