These sources give no fee effective dates. Check current charges in Mumaris Plus, DataFlow and Prometric before you pay. The body that issued your document may charge its own fee. DataFlow shows it when you choose that body.

Check your title in Mumaris Plus before you pay DataFlow. A mode-of-study check asks how your course was taught. It became mandatory on 1 August 2023, so older reports may need paid checks.

Oral assessmentSession card says Free. Mumaris FAQ says a further permitted attempt needs evaluation fees, without an amount. Ask which sessions incur charges.

HRSD says employers pay recruitment, residence and work-permit costs. Agree who pays the licence costs in your job offer. Keep these costs apart.

Get your permit, then book

  1. After processing your application, SCFHS sends an exam permit showing when you can test. It also emails access instructions (SNLE guide).
  2. Use the SCFHS eligibility number in Prometric’s SCHS programme. Select the exam for your category.
  3. Choose a date within your permit’s period and an available testing window. Prometric’s 2022 FAQ requires at least 2 working days’ notice.
  4. For the SMLE, appointments may not open more than 3 months ahead (applicant guide). Approved centres are available in Saudi Arabia and abroad.

Use the dates printed on your permit. The older vendor FAQ says the permit usually lasts 3 months from issue. Only SCFHS can reset or reissue an expired number. Open a Tawasul ticket or call 920019393.

Check how many attempts you have before you pay for a retake. SCFHS documents differ; see attempts and improvement rules.

Change or cancel early

15 calendar days or lessOriginal exam fee lost
Outside penalty periodsRebooking at no extra charge; cash refund needs an exceptional, justified decision
Exactly 30 daysFAQ also advises at least 30 days to avoid charges. Check current booking terms; change earlier if possible.

Read the terms in Prometric’s 2022 FAQ. It gives no fee start date. Check the current charge and cut-off before you change your booking.

Bring the right ID and use the scheduled break

  • Bring the exam permit and unexpired ID. The ID name must match the permit exactly.
  • Use your passport. When testing in Saudi Arabia, the SNLE guide also accepts a national or residence identity card.
  • Each paper has a 30-minute scheduled break between its 120-minute parts. Unscheduled breaks do not stop the clock.
  • In the SNLE, the next block starts automatically after the scheduled break. Extra break time comes out of testing time.
  • SNLE centres provide laminated sheets, erasers and markers for notes and calculations.

The SNLE guide says the exam ends when all blocks are exited or total time expires. If the software stops, it should restart where it stopped. See your paper’s format and samples: SMLE, SNLE, SPLE, SDLE.
