OMSB exam fees and Pearson VUE booking

Budget beyond the exam fee
The exam fee excludes verification and MOH licensing. Keep immigration costs separate. Ask your employer which costs it will pay.

We did not find official amounts for DataFlow packages, dentist licensing, private-sector assessments, labour permits or resident cards. Ask about tax and equivalence charges too. Request a route-specific quote before setting your total.
The nursing SOP gives no first-licence fee. The separate new-licence service gives the non-Omani private-sector fee above.
Create your account and book
- Create an account in Pearson VUE’s OMSB programme. Match your ID name exactly, including your middle name.
- Finish any approval step OMSB or your employer gives you. Sign in, choose your paper and book.
- Pay through your Pearson VUE account. Each new booking, including a retake, needs new payment (booking rules).
- Expect the confirmation email within 48 hours. If it is missing or wrong, contact Pearson VUE (confirmation rules).
For Pakistan and Lebanon, Pearson’s booking section specifies a bank-transfer voucher. Its FAQ says cash at the centre at least 2 business days before (payment FAQ). Ask Pearson VUE which method applies before paying.
Fix account details before the exam
Pearson VUE must correct a name mismatch. You can edit email and mobile details in My Profile (OMSB account FAQ). A lock after invalid payment attempts is a payment block. Call Pearson VUE customer service to lift it.
We did not find an official booking-authorisation lifetime or reissue fee. A payment lock does not establish that eligibility has expired.
Change or cancel in time
Reschedule free at least 48 hours before the appointment (change rules). Cancel by the same deadline for a full refund. It returns to your booking card in 10 to 14 business days (refund rules). Later changes can cost you the fee.
Choose a centre for the OMSB programme
Use the OMSB centre locator. Exams run worldwide and at OMSB’s National Test Centre in Muscat (exam catalogue). A Pearson VUE centre may not offer every programme.
On 5 October 2026, the OMSB locator listed Nagpur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Jaipur. This was one search, not a full list or proof of seats for your title. Check current seats before planning travel.
Check your ID and arrival time
- Non-Omanis need a valid passport. Omanis need valid hard-copy government photo ID (ID rules).
- Check the exact name match before exam day.
- Arrive 30 minutes early. More than 15 minutes late can mean refusal and loss of the fee (arrival rules).
After the exam, follow OMSB results. Keep your appointment and payment records.
