Prometric vs Pearson VUE for Gulf licensing exams
Pearson VUE runs exams for Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health (DOH) and the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB). Prometric runs the listed programmes for the other six boards. The board sets your eligibility, paper and pass mark.

Each board has its own booking steps
For DOH, pay in TAMM once DOH approves your exam. This opens the Pearson VUE booking link. You cannot book straight from Pearson VUE (DOH programme).
For OMSB, create a Pearson VUE account and book there (OMSB programme). OMSB also runs occupational classification exams at its National Test Centre in Muscat.
For Prometric boards, follow your board’s steps. DHA needs the exam eligibility ID from Sheryan. SCFHS needs its eligibility number and scheduling permit. NHRA needs its exam code.
