MOHAP exam results, retakes and next steps

By the ProMCQ Editorial Team

Ask MOHAP about your result status. After a pass, download your evaluation letter; your hiring facility must apply for the licence.

Get your result or resolve a delay

We did not find an official MOHAP result portal, release timetable or score format. Prometric’s FAQ says the exam owner decides when results come. Follow your booking confirmation and ask MOHAP directly about result status.

For a booking problem, use support on Prometric’s MOHAP programme page. For a missing result or dispute, contact MOHAP. We did not find a MOHAP appeal or rescoring procedure. Ask MOHAP which route and deadline apply to your file.

After a pass, download your evaluation

  1. Check and download your evaluation letter from the MOHAP service after meeting the required assessments.
  2. Complete accepted document verification.
  3. Ask your licensed hiring facility to apply with the evaluation and accepted work invitation.

The letter alone does not let you work. Follow MOHAP licence requirements for the facility’s documents and pharmacist route. Evaluation, exam result and licence have separate dates.

Check your result’s validity

The January 2026 pharmacist licensing service gives the assessment certificate 5 years. This rule applies to pharmacists. We did not find an official MOHAP validity period for GP, dentist or nurse results. Read your own evaluation letter’s expiry and ask MOHAP if it is missing.

After a fail, check remaining attempts

The unified PQR counts 3 attempts across DHA, DOH, MOHAP and SHA together; read UAE attempt rules before switching authorities. Declare your earlier UAE attempts when applying.

A final attempt needs approval and is decided case by case. The PQR describes routes involving the same authority or another authority. For the same-authority route, you must declare no failures elsewhere. The Tier 3 consultant-upgrade exception does not qualify. MOHAP’s August 2025 FAQ says “3 attempts only”. Ask MOHAP which rule applies before paying.

PQR section 1.5.8 allows up to 3 new attempts. You need a recognised extra qualification or qualifying clinical experience gained after your last attempt. The experience route needs at least 2 years. Ask MOHAP if you meet the route’s conditions.

Get retake instructions before rebooking

We did not find an official MOHAP retake waiting period, reissue fee or current retake process. Ask MOHAP for instructions for your file. Then use Prometric’s EMOH booking route if MOHAP authorises it.

Prometric counts cancellations and missed appointments towards its 3 scheduling attempts. This scheduling limit is separate from the PQR’s failed-exam rules. Follow MOHAP fees and booking before changing an appointment.
