Allow for the whole route

DHA gives no total licence cost. You pay for DataFlow, the exam, registration and licence activation as separate steps. The exam uses USD; Sheryan services and DataFlow use AED. Check the current checkout price before paying. The CBT guide gives no fee start date.

The activation page does not name pharmacists in its fee groups. Ask your employer which fee applies and who pays activation. Include travel, any retake and rescheduling charges in your budget.

Check the price before transferring a report

The Sheryan FAQ gives a report-transfer fee of AED 300. DataFlow’s 2024 DHA guide gives AED 200 from another authority, before VAT. It gives AED 100 for an earlier DHA report, before VAT. DHA’s older Facility FAQ gives AED 100. Ask DataFlow for the current scope and total before paying.

DHA says the DataFlow report does not expire, but new or changed documents may need paid checks. DataFlow allows 1 free appeal within 180 calendar days of the report date. You must use the same documents. Cases closed for missing information do not qualify. A new or different document is a paid extra document.

Generate your ID and book

  1. Enter your DHA Unique ID, category, exact title and specialty in the CBT exam ID tool.
  2. Save the assessment eligibility ID. It is separate from your DHA Unique ID and professional registration.
  3. Use Prometric’s DHA scheduler with the same passport details as Sheryan.
  4. Choose a centre and available seat for the DHA programme. Not every centre runs every exam.

The ID tool gives no expiry, steps to extend it or fee to reactivate it. For ID problems, email info@dha.gov.ae. You can book while DataFlow checks continue. For title and document rules, use DHA licence steps.

Change your appointment in time

Reschedule or cancel at least 5 calendar days before the exam (assessment manual). The charge can differ by centre. Ask Prometric what you will pay. The 2023 assessment manual says exam fees are non-refundable. The current manual gives no refund for a missed assessment. If you cancel or miss the exam, it does not count as a failed attempt.

Prepare for exam day

  • Arrive 30 minutes early.
  • Bring a valid passport matching your registration. The Sheryan FAQ also mentions national ID; ask DHA before relying on it.
  • Allow for security checks of your ID, pockets and glasses, including a metal-detector wand.
  • Leave unapproved electronics, wearables, notes, books, food and drinks outside the testing room.
  • Your 3-hour appointment includes registration and the introduction. You have less time to answer the 150 questions.

Frequently asked questions

Do you pay again for a DHA retake?

Yes. Every sitting needs the full exam fee. Check your remaining attempts before booking.

Does an exam exemption remove the exam fee?

Yes, if DHA accepts it and no exam is required. Verification, registration and activation still have their own charges.

Are DHA fees in USD or AED?

The exam fee is in USD. Sheryan and DataFlow fees are in AED. DHA gives no converted amounts.

Does DHA use negative marking?

The CBT guide and assessment manual do not state a negative-marking rule. Ask DHA whether wrong answers lose marks before choosing how to handle uncertain questions.
